Recently we had the pleasure of collaborating on a shoot with WeddingNet; a group of wedding suppliers in and around Bolton who get together to inspire and learn from each other. We’ve had the pleasure of working with several members of the groups on many occasions and LOVED how our Woodland inspired shoot turned out.
It was also featured on Boho Weddings… our favourite source of inspiration for those of you wanting a natural and outdoorsy wedding
We LOVE everything woodland. We love nature. I’m sure you can see from our designs that we find a lot of inspiration in our surroundings and see the magic in the forests… the landscapes of fairy tales. So we were REALLY excited to work on this Woodland Wedding theme.
With the changing seasons we wanted to show how, as a team, WeddingNet works with our surroundings to inspire our brides. Kilhey Court is surrounded by the most gorgeous natural woodland so we let this guide our styling, choosing to split the shoot into two scenes; an almost wild whimsical woodland scene created in the atmospheric woodland of Kilhey Court and a more sophisticated interpretation of woodland weddings brought in to the stunning Hotel.
The team worked well together and developed their designs and styling to truly bring the idea to life… please see the team at the bottom of the page
Wild Woodland Wedding:
Mira by Legend Bridal Designs
Mira is a delicate ivory lace of trailing leaves over latte toned duchess satin with a simple flattering silhouette; the effortless charm of this dress mirroring the timelessness of nature. The matching headdress is also a Legend creation; scupltured lace and clusters of small handmade fabric flowers.
Rosalka by Legend Bridal Designs
Rosalka, is also known as ‘the woodland dress’ and is layer upon layer of ruffles in chiffon and lace. It really draws upon the magic of the changing seasons and playfulness of Autumn.
Here Rosalka is teamed with gorgeous original head piece and bouquet by Jamball Creations
