So, 2 minutes ago we were on the run up to the Great Northern Wedding show and looking for models. All of a sudden it’s June… JUNE!!! May has been, without a doubt, our busiest month so far. It seems to be taking over most summer months as the choice for weddings. Maybe it’s the double whammy of Bank Holidays or maybe it’s just because the weather tends to be quite beautiful; either way it meant we were pretty much locked in the sewing room for the whole of May. As a result, everything non-imminent wedding related has been put on hold – planning our autumn collection (yeah totally out the window), getting involved in shoots (delayed until after wedding season), keeping up with the world (what – there’s stuff happening outside our door?), buying light bulbs (yes, seriously need light bulbs!). It’s also meant that we have a backlog of gorgeous we still need to share with you… Grunge Biker Wedding Inspiration Back at the beginning of the year, when Kate and Lisa of Paragon Floral Design got in touch asking if we wanted to be involved in a collaborative shoot we knew instantly we would say yes. We knew, as soon as we met Lisa, that we would enjoy making her wedding dress and hearing about all the preparations on the run up to the wedding… the village hall, the bridesmaids gorgeous floral dresses, the hunt for shoes and excitement when she’d chosen her flowers. We were on the edge of our seats waiting for the first glimpses of her wedding to appear on Facebook and finally (if only virtually) meet this Dan we’d heard so much about. Kerry Woods was their photographer on the day and we have LOVED pouring over the images. Lisa and Dan look so happy! and all those gorgeous details! Emma’s wedding dress was a true reflection of her personality; fun loving and bubbly. Emma chose a 50’s style dress with delicate sequin shimmer peeking through exquisite Chantilly lace, matching lace jacket and double dose of vixen red petticoats. BUT the details don’t stop there! We added custom tattoo embroidery, leopard print bow and red lace-up in the dress and matching red buttons on the jacket. Emma was one stunning bride who knew exactly how to rock her wedding day!
