Ashlea & Luke's Hallowedding at Lock91 Manchester
Mid December! What on earth happened to this year? Did you know we’ve been in Great Harwood 2 years now? Actually it was the beginning of October that marked the anniversary but WOW what a busy year it’s been for us not to even realise! In fact - where has this last 2 years gone? There’s been so many changes here… It feels like every month we are having to reassess pretty much everything we do to accommodate some new thing we never considered previously.
This year was crazy… so crazy I feel like the only thing we’ve said was ‘man alive it’s crazy!’ ‘where did that go!’ but seriously, it’s been an amazing year filled with so many happy brides. Our challenge now is to share it all with you. With all that extra work we’ve been a little slower to update our website etc as much as we’d like, so, we’re going to make much more of an effort to share our beautiful brides and inspire so many more of you to embrace planning your wedding without compromising your style.
The first wedding we’re going to share with you is…
Ashlea & Luke’s Hallowedding at Lock 91 in Manchester
As soon as we met Ashlea we knew (well hoped) she’d become a Legend Bride. We love all our brides but within a few sentences we knew we had so much in common, crazy hair colours and tattoos being the most obvious of those. And as she described her wedding we knew we wanted in… halloween, relaxed family affair, black wedding dress!
Ashlea decided on a bespoke design inspired by our Esther gown… pewter sequin bodice overlaid with black tulle and a jagged skirt made up of layers of black and charcoal. Ashlea also chose chain detail to drape over her arms and across her shoulders incorporating black crystal and Hematite stars, spikes and skulls. She also liberated her inner drama queen for the most fabulous (and huge) lace edged train!… which was made detachable for later in the day!
We love how the colour theme just blends throughout the pictures. And all the little details that make the wedding so personal! We’ve loved pouring over Ashlea and Luke’s wedding images – it’s such a privilege to be a part of those special moments and a bonus to be allowed to share in the memories.
There are so many beautiful images of Ashlea and Luke’s wedding but I’ll share just a few of my favourites here…
