Love stories will always enchant us, and Beauty and the Beast is among the best of them.

You can tell from the first image that this styled shoot is not based on the Disney version of the tale, but this shoot brought together by The Urban Wedding Company and Bespoke Events Styling takes on a darker edge to the vision. I could wax lyrical about how the details have been brought together to make my dark little heart sing, but I’m just going to let the images (by Marni V Photography) and video (by AMB Vision) speak for themselves.

Love doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be true

It’s ‘a tale as old as time’ for a reason… Love and life are not soft and sweet. Life is hard and love is not always easy. It hides where we’re not looking and makes us work to nurture our fairytale. But when we find it, well, it’s sure as hell worth it!

Be the beauty or find the beauty in the beast, and never let the opinions of others stop you from doing so. Love people, find beauty in chaos, and be the Disney princess that you imagined you’d be.
