Zombie Apocalypse Photoshoot

With the spooky season soon approaching us, we had a sudden hunger for guts and gore this Halloween, so how better to satisfy it than a zombie photoshoot? Mamma & Poppa Legend kindly offered up their gorgeous Orchard at Woodend as our bewildering backdrop, so we took our usual motley crew along with us, plus a few new friendly faces!

Weeks of blood, sweat and tears went into bringing this shoot together, until FINALLY the day was here! The air reeked of excitement from all the wedding suppliers involved. Anything horror and Halloween fills our grumbly bellies with tiny butterflies moths.

Our good friends bouquet designer, Maddison Rocks and stationary artist, Prim and Glad took on a slightly different role this time, allowing makeup artist, Ruth E Mulden to give them black eyes and decorate their faces with blood. Maddison Rocks even allowed her husband to marry model Kerrie for the day! Of course, we had none other than wonderous Vicky Dubois behind the lens.

Model Kerrie wears a bespoke wedding dress with a 50s style silhouette and dip dyed hem. If all white’s a bit too vanilla for you but don’t want to stray too far from tradition, dip dye wedding dresses are the way to go! Our painted dip dye effect wedding gowns add a pop of your favourite colours to tie in with your wedding colour scheme.

Now we HAVE to talk about the amazing wedding essentials involved in this zombie photoshoot. Introducing the incredibly awesome and super talented Inanna Designs who creates bespoke wedding shoes, completely painted by hand! The unbelievably life-like cake was whipped up by Little Cherry Cake Company.
