Anansi the mischievous spider is one of the most popular gods of West African mythology. Originally considered to be the creator of the world, Anansi was the go-between for humans and the sky god Nyame and persuaded Nyame to give both rain and night to people. There are many stories associated with Anansi and their playful ways.

Anansi is full of drama, much like the stories. Made of textured Dupion with a soft sheen; extra full skirt and magnificent train. The clean lines are super flattering, set off by the most amazing puff elbow length sleeve. The real showstopper is the sequined cobweb back detail with Austrian crystal buttons.

As our dresses are made to our standard size chart we recommend ensuring time for alterations should you need them. Please get in touch before placing an order if you are concerned about timescales so we can give you a more accurate estimate based on current workloads.
